4:00pm – Event Start
5:00pm – The Runners Band performs in AMR Confluence Plaza
7:15pm – The Posting of our Nation’s colors, signing of the National Anthem, and Colorado 150 / America 250 Proclamation
7:50pm – Thumpin’ Performs – Known widely as “Colorado’s Favorite Dance Band”
9:30pm – Fireworks Show Begins

Set for Friday, July 4, the celebration kicks off at 2 p.m. on the west side of the CSU Pueblo campus, culminating in a spectacular synchronized fireworks and drone show at 9:15 p.m.
Earlier in the day, families can enjoy:
- 2 p.m.: Gates open. Live DJ music with DJ Panic, and local musician Christian Jaquez.
- Activities for all ages: bubble tower, inflatables, and yard games.
- 3 – 4 p.m.: A community water zone to beat the summer heat
- Throughout the afternoon: Food trucks and local vendors serving up delicious fare
- 7:30 p.m.: Jim Curry’s Premier Tribute John Denver with Pueblo Symphony Orchestra
- The opening act dives into creativity with “Splash-Patriotic Artistry”
- 9:15 p.m.: Fireworks and drone show finale

Celebrate Independence Day with us during this jam-packed day of fun. Head to Civic Center Park for a water-filled afternoon with Spray in the Park and extended splash pad hours. Food trucks, sponsor booths, games, contests, and family activities fill the park with energy, leading up to a beautiful community celebration in memory of Jack Fowler.
