Visit the Nature & Wildlife Discovery Center in Pueblo


Jen DeGroot from Nature & Wildlife Discovery Center (NWDC) was on the show Thursday morning.

NWDC is a 501 c (3) nonprofit environmental education and raptor rehabilitation center located in the City and County of Pueblo, according to their website.

The River Campus is located on the banks of the Arkansas River. It is an oasis within the city of Pueblo where you can hike, cast your line, bike the smoothly paved American Bicycle Trail System, or meet their resident birds of prey at the Raptor Center.

Reserve your Guided visit by registering for one of the tour time slots on the Raptor Tours page. Join them for a one-of-a-kind tour to meet and greet resident birds of prey and learn about their wildlife rehabilitation center!  Tours Times are 11am, 12pm, and 1pm.

You must register!

  • Who: Everyone (all ages)
  • When: Twice a month, Second and Fourth Saturday
