KIX Country’s & Bank of San Juans’ drive yields almost 450 pairs of socks

Just in time for the holidays our Sock it to Me Sock Drive comes to a close.

KIX Country & Bank of the San Juans Pueblo County locations teamed up to collect brand new socks for those in need in our community.

Socks are often the number one item requested at shelters, so KIX Country wanted to help. We started the drive at the beginning of December and in just a few weeks the Pueblo community turned up and gave back.

In that short amount of time, Pueblo people donated almost 450 pairs of socks. The socks were delivered to Posada on Dec. 20.

“It was a true pleasure to team up with Bank of the San Juans and start this drive. We know there are people in our community struggling and we hope the small gesture of a warm pair of socks makes a big difference. We’re proud that every single pair the community donated will stay right here in Pueblo. We’re pleased at the turnout this year and hope to make a bigger impact next year,” said Dave Moore, KIX Country 107.5.
