KIX Country “Sock it to Me” Sock Drive

KIX Country is a local station and supports the Pueblo community any chance we get. So for the holidays this year we wanted to support the local homeless population with our “Sock it to Me” sock drive. To help make it possible, we’ve partnered with The Bank of the San Juans.

Snow and ice is here and Pueblo’s unhoused population might be left out in the cold. Socks are the number one item requested at shelters, so KIX Country is hoping to make a dent in that need.

Clean socks help keep feet warm and dry and prevent frostbite, blisters and infections. For an unhoused person, their feet are their main mode of transportation – to get to shelters, meals, job interviews, etc.

You can drop off a pair of new socks at the KIX Country studios or any Bank of the San Juans location during business hours from now until Dec. 20.

The socks will be helping people in need here in Pueblo at Posada.

The station is located at 112 W D Street Suite 100.
